Freedom Festival - Jun 16

Description
  • June 15, 2022 – June 18, 2022

Our events invite you to pull up, learn from the Baddest and G.O.A.T how to dismantle white supremacy, pull a middle finger to the patriarchy and make time to talk some smack and self-care over brunch! Expect an arts-rich interactive experience that takes you from an inspired fireside chat with the CEO of Planned Parenthood, to a wine tasting with a Black woman sommelier, to an antiracist workshop packed with actionable tools to becoming a G.O.A.T yourself.

From a 2020 birthday bash for Toni Morrison at the Brooklyn Museum—to gathering and centering Black and brown women creatives like Arundhati RoyNikki Giovanni and Joy Harjo. Our very first Freedom Festival attracted over 1,225 participants and, with our partners, activated over 1.8M in everyday antiracist action. Plus we bagged $3,025 for the Equal Justice Initiative!
